What you can expect, and what you cannot

What this is

Delayometer publishes estimates computed from Transport for London’s public feed of live arrival predictions. They are our own measurements and inferences, not statements by TfL, and they can be wrong: predictions change, feeds drop out, and a measurement is only as good as the data behind it.

For the official position on whether a line is running — and for anything where being wrong matters, such as a last train, an accessible route, or a journey you cannot afford to miss — check TfL’s own status page.

Provided as-is

The site is offered without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, accurate, complete or up to date, and we are not liable for anything that follows from relying on it. Use it as one input among several.

The data

The underlying transport data is TfL’s, used under their open data terms, which require the attribution carried at the foot of every page. Line names and colours identify services and imply no endorsement. Delayometer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Transport for London.

Our own measurements, text and design are ours. You are welcome to link to any page here, quote a figure with attribution, or point at a line’s page from anywhere. Systematic scraping of the site is not the way to get the data — ask us instead.
